Choosing the Right Keycap Row

Our keycaps feature an OEM profile which means each keycap is designed for a specific row on the keyboard (R1, R2, R3, or R4). So it’s important to choose the correct row for each keycap.

The diagram below displays all of the rows of a keyboard and the keys that belong to each row. For example, the Esc key belongs to row R4 as indicated by the color guide. So if you want to replace the Esc key, select R4 for the keycap you plan to purchase.

Compatibility

Our keycaps fit seamlessly with any mechanical keyboard that features MX style switches and OEM profile keycaps. This makes them compatible with a majority of keyboards because MX style switches and OEM profile keycaps are commonly used across the entire industry including big brands such as Corsair, Ducky, Keychron, Razer, Anne Pro, HyperX, Royal Kludge, etc.

What are MX style Switches?

In mechanical keyboards, keycaps attach to a keyboard by mounting onto a switch. Our keycaps specifically require MX style switches which are characterized by their ‘+’ shaped stem as shown in the picture below. Popular switch producers like Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu, and Razer use this design.

What are OEM Profile keycaps?

OEM profile keycaps are the most commonly used keycaps in mechanical keyboards. They feature a slightly curved top with varying slopes tailored to fit specific keyboard rows (R1, R2, R3, R4). This design ensures an aesthetic and comfortable typing experience.

i lost my down arrow around a year ago and have been using one of my numpad keys as a replacement- finally decided it was getting annoying and got these to replace them, and they're great! they fit on my keyboard nicely and it looks really nice with the keyboard LEDs. even though these keys have a different texture from the rest of my keys, it's not super noticeable or uncomfortable :]

Amazing Keycaps. I play a lot of DDR-style Rhythm Games with arrows/notes at the top so I put these over the 4 keys I use in those games.
