What are MX style Switches?

In mechanical keyboards, keycaps attach to a keyboard by mounting onto a switch. Our keycaps specifically require MX style switches which are characterized by their ‘+’ shaped stem as shown in the picture below. Popular switch producers like Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu, and Razer use this design.

Unown/Starter/Ash Arrow Keycap Review

This was the best purchase to date that I have made for my gaming set up! All three sets came out looking great with the RGB lights! Royal Keycaps was also very responsive and accommodating; they sent over an extra letter B due to my needing an ergonomic keyboard. Very high quality keycaps (see picture). 3 one of them were unfortunately sent in the wrong sizes so they sent me the replacement free of charge. Great customer service! So happy with my first custom made keyboard. Would 100% order again !!

Couldn't have imagined a better product. Looks great, feels great and slightly heavy (as expected) and fits perfectly on the switch. My photos look great but they don't really show how great this looks irl. My keyboards light isn't too bright as well.
